Samsung announced their final results for the 4th quarter of 2011 and they also made some reference to their newest smartphone that should appear this year: Samsung Galaxy S III. The device was supposed to be presented at the MWC that will take place next month in Barcelona, but it seems that the company has other plans. It looks like the research and development team are “still reviewing” the smartphone meaning that we’ll not see it too soon on the market.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is supposed to be the new flagship smartphone for the company. No other details were given regarding their decision to postpone the official announcement of the device. This news comes very fast after a few days ago we were sure that the smartphone will be presented at the MWC. According to rumors, the device will run ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) – of course, without a doubt – and also a bigger AMOLED screen, a 12 mp camera and a quad core processor. Plus, they’ve reportedly increased and improved the life of the battery. Many will be disappointed by this news because we all were excited to see the new device. Well, we’ll just have to wait for it.
