Nowadays, since there are a lot of smartphones out there with outstanding features, phone manufacturers want to impress us with the most unusual traits. This means that it’s not enough just to have a smartphone that has amazing features, it’s brand new or that it has the highest tech. No, now they want to create the thinnest device. Samsung is one of the companies that seem to be drawn to this battle and want to win it with it new Samsung Galaxy S III. They’ll have to beat the Motorola RAZR XT910 which has 7.1 mm.

It’s rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S III will have 7 mm waistline, but it will have a hump from the camera just like its bigger brother, the S II. Even more, Huawei also wants to bring to the market a thinner device, the Ascend P1 S, that’ll have 6.7 mm, in which case they’ll dethrone Samsung. In other related news, the new gen of Samsung Galaxy devices will feature LTE support. Well, this is not much of a surprise since there are a lot of devices released with LTE and their number is growing. Plus, we could see several models of S III launched if company officials will follow the trail of the S II.
