Rumor: Apple Prepares For Production Of iPhone 5, To Be Launched This Summer
According to the statistics made for the 4th quarter of last year, Apple has become once again the biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world, after losing this title to Nokia and Samsung. They won that title because they launched the iPhone 4S after less than a year after launching the previous version. Well, this year they could maintain that position because it seems they are preparing to launch the iPhone 5 sometime in the summer.
Of course, this could be just a rumor so it’s best if you don’t get that excited until there is some official word on this. The new device will come with a 4+ inch screen and there are a few prototypes tested already. Apparently, one of these has a screen designed by LG (well, that info it’s not that useful). The interesting part is that the new model doesn’t look anything like its predecessors, iPhone 4 and 4S so we’ll see a fresh new look. There are a lot of models and prototypes but none of these are the final version of the device even if “the source” claims that the device is preparing for mass production. Even so, it’s a good thing that after 2 year, the company was finally able to create a new design for their iPhone.
