Next Gen iPhones And Samsung Will Feature Waterproof Coating
The Samsung Galaxy S III and the next generation of iPhones will share a common feature: it is said that the devices will have waterproof coating. Apple claims that the two families of smartphones have strong similarities. Anyway, the waterproofing technology seems to be very interesting and it made quite an impression at the CES this year. The edition was certainly seen by the smartphone makers, including Samsung and Apple. Even if this tech was presented during the CES and Apple do not show or present their devices during such events, the company’s employees were spotted at the event.

Perhaps some of you already dropped your smartphone in water and this tech will definitely draw your attention in the future. This rumor hasn’t been confirmed by any of the companies involved, Samsung, Apple or Liquipel. Besides this company, there’s one other company on the market also in the waterproofing tech, ZAGG. If you search the web, more precisely YouTube, you’ll see a series of videos demonstrating the waterproofing tech from ZAGG and Liquipel. But if you don’t want to wait until the next iPhone or the Galaxy S III are released you can send your smartphone to Liquipel and they can waterproof it for $59.
