Chrome Beta For Android Released By Google

Posted on 8 Feb 2012 in Android

Google has recently released the Chrome browser for Android. This is a huge step for Google because the browser increased a lot in popularity at a very high rate. Even more, this can make the unification between the computer and you’re your personal smartphone. Well, that is the best feature of the browser: you can have the last opened pages on your computer onto your smartphone. Of course, the beta release is for Ice Cream Sandwich.

Now that this step was made, the next question is: will Chrome appear on iOS as well? Well, that question is tough even for Google officials. We don’t know if we will see Chrome on the iPhone because of the limitations imposed by Apple. If at some point it will arrive on iOS, it will look like the browser Apple is using, Safari, maybe a little repainted. Of course, this doesn’t sound like a bad idea but until we have some official word from Apple or Google, this is the only information for the moment. Who knows, perhaps Apple will not approve this because they aren’t so keen of sharing their space with other platforms.
