Video Hands-on with the Samsung G400 at CeBIT

Samsung Electronics has announced its dual-screen clamshell handset Samsung G400 during CeBIT 2008, which features 15.2mm-thick slim design.Supporting GSM tri-band and 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, the G400 adopts an internal 2.22-inch TFT LCD display and 5-megapixel camera with automatic face detection and Wide Dynamic Range(WDR) functionality.


The G400’s multimedia features include FM radio, music, a built-in camera, and photo album software — all of which are accessible via the full touch external display. Users can perform normal phone centric tasks using the internal display, and when the phone is in idle status users can opt to display wallpaper or other items on the external display. Notifications for SMS/MMS as well as alarm or schedules are also viewable directly on the external display.

Meizu’s miniOne iPhone clone — also known as the M8 — has made an appearance at the ongoing CeBIT expo in Hannover, Germany. The device on public display can only display four different images, but is said to closely mimic the interface of the iPhone, including its finger-flick touchscreen motions.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone’s built-in GPS with Vodafone SatNav, powered by Telmap SatNav technology, enables users to find an address and track their location simply and easily as the route is displayed on a 3D map, together with audible step-by-step directions. The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone features a 2 megapixel camera with 5X digital zoom and enhanced flash. BlueAnt has unveiled its new Z9 Bluetooth Headset at Mobile World Congress. The BlueAnt Z9 headset has its own Voice Isolation technology which can filter the sound of human voice from ambient noise of up to 85dB.
