Japanese telecom major NTTDoCoMo has announced 16 new phones to its lineup and each one is more unique than the other.One of these handsets is the NEC N906i clamshell phone with a 5.2MP sensor and a smile detection. Its 3 inch VGA (640 x 480) display screen is perfect for watching videos or web browsing.The phone Measures 109mm × 49mm × 19.6mm and weighs 133grams. Other features includes HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Yamaha audio chip for crisp and clear sound, Micro SD card slot and support for majority of audio and video formats.

LG Electronics presented its global hit model Shine in Japan market through NTT DoCoMo, which comes in gold color.

Supporting 7.2Mbps HSDPA network, 2M camera and microSD card, the Gold Shine features 1-Seg dedicated to Japanese. It also offers 140 minutes of continuous calling time and 330 hours of standby time.

LG Electronics launched ‘Wine Phone(model: FOMA L705i)’ in Japan market, which enhanced voice calling and SMS sending and receiving functionality targeting for 30~40 year old consumers.

Have a 2.2-inch wide LCD and double size buttons and speaker, the Wine phone can enlarge even invisible words via built-in camera and offer words format twice bigger than that of the existing phone. It supports four key buttons directly practicing frequent menu such as alarm, schedule, voice recording and condition setting.

Made by Panasonic for DoCoMo, the P905i is a 3G/GSM/GPS phone featuring a 1seg TV tuner, Viera image processing (same technology as on Panasonic’s PDP TV including the PEAKS engine) on a beautiful 3.5 inches screen rocking a nice 854×480px resolution and 1gb of built-in memory to record the television for example.No word on a price just yet, but you can probably guess if it’s in your budget or not.

Akihabaranews.com again spotted Hands-on pictures with the W61P, the other Slim phone from Panasonic ,the W61P, which runs on the AU network in Japan (KDDI) has a thickness of 12.9mm (against the 9.8mm of the P705iu), but include a 1Seg TV tuner that its “slimmer” brother does not have.
