Apple’s iPhone distribution of more than a million items in three uninterrupted quarters enable them to smash records. And even when the 2nd-quarter deliveries slumped down (probably because of the new 3G iPhone), Apple has remained to be the 2nd placer for the 1st half of 2008, with Motorola on the 3rd place.

Meanwhile, Motorola topped the US Mobile Handset vendor with 25% share. However, the 1st placer struggles in the productive and quick-rising Smartphone industry. In fact, Motorola was the single dealer with 2-digits drop for both quarterly and annual growth in the second quarter of 2008.

Nokia 3610 Fold is Nokia’s fresh solid quad-band clamshell.

The latest model contains a 1.3-megapixel camera that captures premium photos, a 2” LCD that flaunts data with up to 262K-colors, and an exterior display that specify received calls, messages or an analog timer. If you boast of a smartphone that includes a 3rd Edition of S60 and would be glad to give Nokia Email a try, then you can rush your way to the nearest Nokia Beta Labs in your area as soon as possible.

Nokia Email, which Nokia has launched lately at its Nokia Beta Labs (an assessment quarter where subscribers can try out different applications that are still in testing form), incorporates Intellisync to put forward a basic email system. However, only 1 mailbox is permitted to be set-up for the meantime.

To date, reports say that there are still delays in the Nokia Email process.

T-mobile has just publicized that Nokia 5610 XpressMusic is now ready for release to its potential buyers. The slider handset has an inferior 2.5mm audio port, however, an adapter is there to compensate for it. Nokia 5610 also has a microSD card slot that comes with a 1 Gigabyte memory card, which can give a huge data storage as well as painless entry to the owner’s music data.

Other features include, Bluetooth 2.0, A2DP prop up for hi-fi earphones, and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and a dual-LED flash.

Nokia is quoted by T-Mobile at $99 and is offered in white with silver lining or in black with red lining.

If I, the user, were to buy a new mobile phone unit, of course I would choose a trusted brand that focuses on form and function. But most of all, I would also examine its affordability. This is probably what Nokia is considering that their clients might be thinking.

In line with this, Nokia cut prices for many of its handsets in July, causing its rivals to get tensed as they lowers down the costs of their units. For one, Motorola is already rumored to be struggling in losses since its flagship RAZR phone lost appeal among consumers.

Nokia increased its market share to 41 percent in the second quarter, helped by surging demand in emerging markets.
