LG Electronics presented its global hit model Shine in Japan market through NTT DoCoMo, which comes in gold color.

Supporting 7.2Mbps HSDPA network, 2M camera and microSD card, the Gold Shine features 1-Seg dedicated to Japanese. It also offers 140 minutes of continuous calling time and 330 hours of standby time.

SoftBank Mobile Corp and Walt Disney Japan Co Ltd announced Nov 12, 2007, that they will collaborate in the mobile phone business and start a local service in Japan in the spring of 2008.Sharp Corp’s “DM001SH” will be released as the first handset for the Disney Mobile service. The phone has a silhouette of Mickey Mouse on the front face of the chassis in the display block and the keyboard.

The main display is a 400 x 240 (wide QVGA) LCD panel, and the sub-display is a 60 x 32 monochrome OLED panel. It is equipped with a 2-Mpixel CMOS camera as well as functions such as 1seg TV and FeliCa.Calls Available only in Japan,the international roaming service is not available.

Hitachi has just debuted its W61H cellphone, which packs a 2.7-Inch E-Ink display on its reverse side,so-called ‘Silhouette screen’, on the back side. Users can choose one among 95 graphic patterns of the screen for their own design.

The W61H will have a 2.8-inch internal WQVGA display (240 x 400), 1.97MP camera and an onboard 2GB micro SD (non-expandable.) The E-Ink phone goodness will last 250 minutes of call time on a single charge, and will most likely never get the chance to live the American dream (it’s a Japan only release)
