 E-TEN Announces the Glofiish M750 and M810

E-TEN announced details on two of its newest quad-band PC Pocket phones from its Glofiish line, the M750 and the near-identical M810. Both feature an integrated GPS receiver, while Wi-Fi and a keyboard allow for easy Internet access and browsing. Java support for Internet games and applications makes them E-TEN’s first Pocket PCs to do so. The 810 differs mainly with an extra camera to allow for video calls (pictured) and adds UTMS and HSDPA to the 750’s GPRS and EDGE connectivity options. The phones also integrate a built-in radio, 2.8-inch, 240×320-pixel display, a 2-megapixel camera along with Bluetooth. The 0.7-inch thick shell of both phones holds 64MB of RAM as well as 256MB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot. The Windows Mobile 6 phone also runs from 64MB of RAM.

No specifics on prices or dates were relayed by the company, but both models should be on the worldwide market in the next two to three weeks.

When you compared the Glofiish M700 and the X800 in terms of specifications, pretty much everything remains the same except that the M700 comes with a processor that is slower by 100MHz, while the display’s resolution stands at 240 x 320 pixels. Everything else about this quad-band GSM handset, from the 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, and GPS connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot are retained. What is your opinion for X800 simile M700?

The latest PDA there is Glofiish X800 is one mutli-functional handset, and I fear for its battery life considering the amount of technology packed in. You get GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity in addition to MP3 playback, a VGA camera behind and a 2.0 megapixel camera up in front.A Samsung SC3 2442 500Mhz processor runs the show, aided by 256MB ROM and 64MB RAM. The display could do with a little bit more help though, as it shows only 65k colors on a 640 x 480 resolution. This latest phone called Glofiish X800 measures 113.5mm x 60.5mm x 15.8mm and uses Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional as its operating system of choice. Source
