The Nokia E61 is a WiFi capable device that supports both GSM and UMTS 3G connections, but it does not support the UMTS frequency bands that are to be used in the United States. The 2.8-inch landscape screen which runs at 240 x 320 pixels is huge compared to normal phones but nothing like my iPAQ 4700 which has spoiled me forever…
It is certainly adequate for the task of reading and writing e-mails and other short documents. And because communication is what this unit is all about you will find Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS and all the 3G connectivity you would want.

The E50 is a quad band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) monoblock handset with a range of Enterprise-focused software enhancements including support for push email, integration with corporate PBX’s, onboard team management/communication software, and advanced remote device management. The E50 has a QVGA (240 x 320) screen which has a sensor and automatically adjusts its brightness as necessary. The display is a 2-inch one with a resolution of 240×320 pixels and can reproduce up to 262k colors, which are not very saturated. The pixels are small and pictures viewed on the screen look precise and detailed, but the contrast could’ve been stronger. The keyboard, especially when using number keys, is excellent. The softkeys, application key, cancel key, and the send and end keys are a little smaller, and took a few moments to get used to, but should present no problems.
