
Mike Lazaridis, Co-CEO of RIM, has explained that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone is yet in AT&T’s documentation procedure.
Last May, the company has declared that the handset would be obtainable in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2008. However, the release of the Blackberry Bold 9000 is still delayed. Report says that the postponement is due to the verity that RIM and AT&T is mutually materializing their aim to stay away from the mistake that overwhelmed the launch of iPhone 3G earlier this year. A representative from AT&T informed the Associated Press that BlackberryBold 9000 would be available this year.

Google broadcasted that it has modernized the BlackBerry and Java editions of its Google Maps Mobile application to embrace a hold up for the company’s Street View images. Street View lets users to take a look at concrete ground level snapshots of the addresses that they locate on Google Maps. Although Street View has only covered a little fraction of the country, its users can benefit a greater deal in visual information rather than that of the present Satellite View.
As of now, Google Maps for other programs, such as Windows Mobile and S60, has not been restructured to incorporate Street View.

Sprint is scheduled to launch Blackberry Curve 8350i later this year. The smartphone is push-to-talk capable, Bluetooth capable, and GPS-navigation capable. It offers WiFi support as well as many different Nextel applications such as Nextel Direct Connect, Nationwide and International Connect, and Group Connect, all of which allows the users to communicate on a wider varieties and horizons.
The BlackBerry Curve 8350i boasts of a 2 megapixel camera with video recording, a microSD memory card slot, and an integrated music player. It is reported to be available before the end of this year, though price and detailed information are not yet released.

At&T is scheduled to release the Blackberry Bold in the middle of September.
Just like the Blackberry Curve, the Bold will incorporate a parallel display and a QWERTY keyboard containing one letter for each key. The new Blackberry Bold presents a lustrous metallic casing with Wi-Fi competence, 3G speedy accesses, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Doubling the screen resolution of the existing BlackBerry handsets, Blackberry Bold equals the screen resolution of Apple’s iPhone (Blacberry’s close competitor).
AT&T said it would be the private U.S. carrier for the Bold, as it is for the iPhone
