FCC has approved another mobile phone manufactured by Asus. The new gadget is labeled as the Garmin Nuvifone which was introduced last year.
The Garmin Nuvifone is armed with GPS for global connection. It is also supported by a dual-band UMTS support (850/1900MHz), with HSDPA support for high-speed data. No particular mobile phone carrier has been mentioned in the documentation submitted by Asus to FCC, but the phone’s 3G frequency is giving out a clue that it could be AT&T.
Also known as the ‘Calf’, the Garmin Nuvifone boasts of a 3.5″ touchscreen display.
