Admit it or not, cell phones have been the primary culprit in most of the vehicular accidents involving the youth. Unfortunately, no law has been imposed to stop sending and receiving messages from the phones. It is exactly because of this reason why the University of Utah has been pushed to innovate a car key that will remind all drivers specially the young ones to stop using their gadgets while driving. When the key is being used in the car it will automatically send signal to the phone that will cause the phone to display a ’stop’ sign.
The University of Utah applied its invented key, which is called the ‘Key2SafeDriving’, for a license. A 6-month waiting period is anticipated before the phone will be available for sale.
