NETGEAR and Sony Ericsson has just launched the NETGEAR MBRN3300E 3G mobile broadband router that includes an internal 3G radio. The 280mm x 150mm x 50mm (6.9in x 1.1in x 4.7in) device transmits both 3G and 802.11n signals and can reach rates of 270Mbps using 802.11n. There are three models available and users can choose between HSPA or EV-DO 3G connectivity. However, pricing is not yet available but NETGEAR says the modem is available today.
