As part of his 2011 budget plan, President Barack Obama will propose repealing of the cell phone tax. Obama is scheduled to release his proposed tax and spending plan on Monday. If the cell phone tax is repealed this year, taxpayers would be off the hook for all of 2010, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the budget had not yet been released. The administration made a similar proposal in June, and it was well received in Congress.
