Apple wipes out over 5,000 apps with inadequately dressed women. The New York Times reported Apple’s VP of World Wide Marketing, Phil Schiller said, “It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see.” Fred Clarke, co-president of “On the Go Girls” said, “I’m shocked. We’re showing stuff that’s racier than the Disney Channel, but not by much. It’s very hard to go from making a good living to zero.”

After announcing a 3G spectrum auction, the Indian government said that it has issue an official notice inviting applications last February 25, 2010. Qualified bidders will be announced on 30 March and mock auctions will be held 5-6 April ahead of the main event three days later. The auctions will cover 20 of India’s 22 telecoms zones. A separate auction for the WiMAX-capable Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) spectrum would start two days after the close of the 3G auction. The 3G auctions in India have been delayed at least three times since a date was first set in January 2009 over issues such as the reserve start price, the number of slots to be sold and the amount of bandwidth available.

After seven years of operation, Apple iTunes has already hurdled its ten billion music download recently. Last year of the same month, the Apple iTunes got its nine billion downloads, while in 2005, it got its one billion downloads. With Apple rumored to move iTunes to the cloud, we might see more on Apple music services, and, nearly everyone like suppose that a bigger population will soar on the iTunes bandwagon.

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, will come face-to-face with the company’s shareholders as they meet for an annual meeting. “It’s a big company now and there are questions about the limits to growth in any market, and once you hit that $200 billion number, which they’re close to, people have questions,” said Pacific Crest Securities analyst Andy Hargreaves.

The company last bought back shares in 2001 and scrapped its dividend in the mid 1990s. Apple’s cash balance is the largest among U.S. technology companies, and many analysts think the company should put at least some of the money to work.
