Sprint is giving out big, big discounts in its monthly subscription price for Sprint 4G WiMAX network to $59.99 in order to magnetize more customers. The price decrease is also accompanied by the release of Sprint’s new Overdrive 3G/4G modem. Overdrive lets up to five different users share a single mobile broadband connection by broadcasting its own WiFi signal. Meanwhile, rumors have it that Sprint may be working with Wal-Mart to develop WiMAX exposure to more locations. Sprint’s WiMAX network is operated by Clearwire and is currently available in 27 markets across the United States.
