Samsung proclaimed the March for a Million Phones agenda. The program aims to recycle 1 million handsets in the United States by the end of 2010. The program was established by Samsung Telecommunication’s Chief Marketing Officer, Paul Golden, who greatly encourages the global phones. The company will be offering in-school education on recycling throughout the year and will also feature chief sponsorships. Devices will be able to be sent to Samsung for recycling through intake bins at Samsung events and Samsung-sponsored events, and the company will also present recycling bags and pre-paid mailers.
