Verizon Wireless unveils the new Samsung SCH-i920 Omnia II, a smartphone that boasts of smart features including a large 3.7-inch touchscreen display that uses AMOLED(INFO) technology, a Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, amd Swype, which allows users to input letters and words using a prediction system that reads the user’s finger (or stylus) position as it drags across a virtual keyboard from one letter to another, without being lifted.

The Samsung Omnia II will be available on December 2, 2009 for $199 with a 2 year agreement, after a mail in rebate that comes in the form of a debit card.
