Verizon entered into an agreement with iSkoot to provide feature phone customers with Social Beat, a free application that gives users access Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and more. Social Beat provides live feeds and real-time notifications from social networks as well as status updates and new photos. The software also provides access to a variety of news feeds. Users can post to their own social networking accounts as well.

Users can download the application through Verizon’s Media Center.
