Motorola will be holding a so-called Android event in San Francisco on September 10, and the company is now beginning to invite the media. Rumors have it that Motorola might announce one or more Android-powered handsets at the event, but Motorola itself refuse to give further details maybe to avoid spoiling the surprise.

Motorola announced the MOTODEV last July. The MOTODEV is a set of development tools for the Android OS. This and the CEO’s words that the company will focus on Android-powered devices could be one of the surprises in the event.
