Virgin Mobile’s financial reports have been posted recently. And, according to the documents, the company doubled its customer loss in the same quarter of 2008 on a total of 269,000 net customers. Surprisingly, Virgin Mobile’s profit increased $17.2 million from $3.5 million in 2008. The company saw 583,000 gross customer additions and its churn rate dropped to 5.3 percent from 5.6 percent the during the same quarter in the prior year.
According to an analaysis, the drop in Virgin Mobile’s number of customer is a result of the fierce competition between mobile phone carriers specifically on the aspect of ‘prepaid plans’.

But how about this?
I keep hearing that Virgin Mobile has a $10 a month plan available for those who can’t afford more but I don’t see it on their web-site. What’s up with that? If they have it, let’s see it!
