Best Buy is eyeing for a new business venture that will be called the Best Buy Mobile. With this, the company will start by opening 40 standalone mobile phone stores within 2009. Brian Dunn, Best Buy’s new CEO mentioned that the mobile phones will be contributory to the company’s gadgets-with-connectivity campaign.

Meanwhile, Wal-Mart is obviously on the race track with Best Buy. In fact, the former is currently trying its best to get a bigger share of the electronics market. Amazon.com can also be considered as Best Buy’s rival as online shopping is becoming popular nowadays.
