Motorola recently announced that the WiMAX Forum has finally licensed the WAP 400 for 3.5GHz, one of its WiMAX access points. WiMAX Forum certification is decided after compliant products surpass mandatory interoperability and conformance tests as outlined by the WiMAX Forum. Motorola’s WAP 400 access point series is part of Motorola’s WiMAX Flexible Access Point infrastructure portfolio and is extensively arranged in 3.5GHz, 2.5GHz and 2.3GHz bands with clientele around the globe.
