Just recently, Sony Ericsson launched another candybar phone called the Sony Ericsson Naite, a reasonably priced handset that comes with a 3G technology. The device is reported to form part of the Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart vow, a commitment to only manufacture handsets that will eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals in production, reduce paper consumption and use smaller packaging. Each GreenHeart product will include an in-phone HTML-based user guide that gets rid of the necessity for a printed manual.
The Naite (”nigh-tee”) features a 2 megapixel camera and a sophisticated media player. It is expected to go on sale in Q3 of 2009.
