Google Android 1.5 is already available via the Trimble Nomad rugged mobile computing system. The device is a smartphone that runs on Android 1.5 “Cupcake” operating system. The Trimple Nomad features an 806MHz processor, 2 GB internal memory, and a high-resolution VGA display. It carries a CompactFlash slot and Bluetooth 2.0, while GPS and WiFi connectivity as well as quad-band GSM can be an option.
