Nokia has just announced the 6600i slide, a slider smartphone that features a 2.2-inch display, high-speed data connectivity, and a high resolution digital camera. The handset’s 3G connectivity provides fast access to the Nokia Ovi Store, while its 5 megapixel camera backed up by a dual-LED flash can serve as an alternative to a digicam for the photo aficionados on the go. The Nokia 6600i slide also supports microSD cards.

Available by the third quarter of 2009, the Nokia 6600i slide will be available for US$272.
