
FCC has finally approved Samsung’s first Android powered touchscreen smartphone, and very soon it might hit North American shores. The i7500 comes with GSM/EDGE (850/1900MHz) and 3G band support that would work on T-Mobile USA’s 3G network. It carries a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with video recording capabilities and an LED flash, as well as a large 3.2-inch AMOLED display to photo and video viewing. The i7500 also feattures WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and Google apps like Gmail, Google Talk, and Google Maps.
To date, the price and availability of the said device has yet been disclosed.
