AT&T has has just announced the Samsung SGH-a167, a flip phone that is also a dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz) device. The handset features a VGA camera, speakerphone, and Bluetooth connectivity. It doesn’t have a 3G connectivity, but users can still surf the mobile Internet. The Samsung a167 includes an internal and external display. The internal display features 64k colors CSTN (128 x 160 pixels) and the external is a simple 96 x 96 pixels. The Samsung SGH-a167 supports SMS, MMS, e-mail, and instant messaging. It is currently available without a commitment for $69.99.
