The MiFi 2200 has just been unveiled by Verizon wireless. For those of you who are not yet familiar with the device, the MiFi2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot is a mobile broadband router that is supported by an EV-DO Rev. With this device, a maximum of five WiFi devices can all share and benefit from the mobile connection that it provides. They can even share a 3G connection up to 40 hours.

Talking about the rates, a monthly subscription of 250MB of data will cost $40, and $60 for 5GB per month for the device. The Verizon Wireless MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot will be available May 17 for $100 after a mail-in rebate.
