The new Samsung SCH-u350 Smooth has been discreetly announced by Verizon as an affordable clamshell device with basic features such as a CDMA (800/1900MHz) support with 1xRTT data connectivity. The Samsung Smooth also features image enhancements like Night Shot, self-timer, and digital zoom alongside its VGA camera. Meanwhile, the phone’s Bluetooth connectivity enables the users to switch from wireless headsets to its integrated speakerphone, or vice versa.

The Samsung Smooth provides access to Verizon applications like voicemail, mobile e-mail, Verizon’s Chaperone location-based parental service, and VZ Navigator. It is already available at a price of $29.99 with a two-year customer agreement and online discount.
