Motorola unveiled the r765, a handset specially built for utility, petrochemical and industrial markets. The gadget is said to clear call conversation provided that most of its users would be mobile workers stationed in noisy and hazardous environments with call clarity and access to data applications. Motorola r765 boasts of a 2-way radio and a cellular radio, which enables users to switch back and forth between on-site and longer-distance communication. It will run on a Java operating system and will provide Bluetooth compatibility for hands-free accessories.

The Motorola r765 will be available by Q2 ‘09.
