With Samsung’s latest innovation, this idea is never impossible. Presenting…the new Blue Earth cell phone, the first ever solar-powered touchscreen phone. The Blue Earth cell phone carries a smooth, spherical, and reflective nugget that traps solar energy, which in turn permits its users to make a call basically anywhere and anytime. Its charger boasts of a 5-star energy efficiency, its body is made of recycled plastic bottles, and its packaging is manufactured out of recycled paper. The phone even shows off a pedometer that indicates how much the user saves the planet in terms of CO2 emissions by walking instead of driving, and as well as how much trees the user has saved from that.

The Blue Earth mobile phone will be displayed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
