Google has worked double-time to produce their latest innovation, the Google Latitude.

The Google Latitude, a service that is interconnected with the Google Maps, helps the mobile phone users to locate their family and friends. Afterwards, the users could instantly access their loved ones as easy as 1-2-3 through SMS, instant messaging, and phone calls.

However, concerns regarding users’ privacy have been raised. And this is probably the reason why Google designed it in a way wherein users’ can also hide a location, disable the service, or at any given time, only share a general location such as a city or town. In other words, each user still has the final say as to what information they want to share with others.
