Just recently, Samsung joined the bandwagon of mobile phone companies that are experiencing loss due to decrease in sales. Approximately US$16.2 million total loss has been reported by Samsung in the last quarter of year08.
As stated, the company’s loss was a result of sales decrease in its mobile phones by 73% (approximately 160 billion). Samsung also points its finger at the weaker consumer demands, which are very unlikely, especially during the holiday season last year. Some credit issues with mobile phone retailers were also blamed.
