Nokia seems to be promoting healthy living these days. How can I tell? Well, after launching the Nokia N79 Active, another eco-friendly mobile phone was introduced by Nokia –the Nokia N79 Eco.

The Nokia N79 Eco is specially designed for the environmentally conscious crowd. In fact, it is packaged in a tiny box, without a charger. According to Nokia, this is their strategy for minimizing environmental wastes and for encouraging the buyers to re-use their old but ‘still in good condition’ chargers. With regards to its functionality, the Nokia N79 Eco carries a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz) support with HSDPA for high-speed data, while A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and a microSD memory slot are also on board.
