According to a Nokia representative, the company has ramped down the N810 WiMax Edition tablet because it has reached the end of its life cycle.

And now, after launching it just nine months ago, Nokia finally decided to end its production of the N810 WiMax Edition tablet. Nokia further mentioned that although the N810 Internet Tablet is the only mobile device using WiMax technology, it has been competing for the status of next generation mobile technology, but has largely lost the battle to Long-Term Evolution (LTE). In short, Nokia was not successful in its plan to influence the market in patronizing the WiMax phones in the future.
