After asking Thailand’s top three Telecom operators namely AIS, DTAC, and True for the favor of sending text messages to Thailand locales that will ask them to cooperate with the prime minister in solving the country’s crisis, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjavjia himself has received various criticisms from the Thai people. According to the PM’s detractors, this SMS action was definitely an invasion of their privacy.

The text messages encourage the interested citizens to send back their postal codes for only 3 baht which will, in turn, assist the government in pin-pointing the part of the country that are eager to help solve the current crisis.

Prime Minister Vejjavjia has apologized to its citizens.
