Apple has placed an intention to enter into an exclusive business agreement with Orange, the largest mobile phone carrier in France, with Apple’s 3G iPhone as the deal. Yes, the names of the two gigantic mobile phone companies, being Apple and Orange, may seem to sound really wonderful, but, unfortunately, the Competition Council of France does not approve of the trade.
According to the Council, the 5 year exclusive contract of Apple and Orange might hurt the mobile phone industry of the country as they find the deal to be excessive in nature. The Council stands firm with its decision but Orange motioned that the decision will only deviate France from its neighboring countries such as Great Britain, Germany, and Spain.
