FCC is already done with Velocity 83 smartphone’s testing procedures, in fact, the new mobile phone has officially been approved.

Set to be released first to the US, the Velocity 83 is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and uses Velocity’s own Odyssey user interface. It is supported by a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) as well as a built-in WiFi for high-speed data transfers. The Velocity 83 is scheduled to be available in the last week of November at US$500.
