Blackberry now comes with a VoIP service called the Truephone. This provides client application for Research in Motion messaging gadgets. Truphone VoIP service gives discounts in calls made globally using Blackberry smartphones’s WiFi, an offer similar to that of Symbian S60 and Apple iPhone. Through this application, the caller will first be asked if he/she prefer to make international call even before dialing.

“There’s no GSM business tariff that gets close to the prices we can offer BlackBerry users with Truphone for international calling,” said Geraldine Wilson, the new CEO of Truphone.
