Google and iPhone joined hands in unveiling the Google Earth. Conceptualized specially for iPhone, Google Earth is a comprehensive port of Google from Mac OS X. It utilizes the iPhone’s (and iPod touch’s) accelerometer, even iPhone’s GPS system.

Google Earth is supported by Open GL-ES wherein only Android contains equal power in the mobile field. The Google Earth team tackled something about Android during their announcement however they mentioned that they have no announcement yet for Google Earth on other platforms.

Google Earth for iPhone and iPod touch is free, and available now on Apple’s App Store.
