Pantech’s OZ2 has passed the standards of FCC. The new mobile phone carries the Helio name triggering some thoughts that the gadget could be the much-awaited Helio Ocean 2. Helio was acquired by Virgin Mobile, thus, the company may be expected to release OZ2 units sometime.

OZ2’s features include QVGA display, a numeric keypad sliding out from the bottom, a complete QWERTY keyboard sliding out from the side, 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. Also available is the jam-packed HTML web browser as well as the EV-DO 3G data support for high-speed transfers.
