HTC Corporation has just entered into a joint venture with KDDI, one of the Japanese largest telecommunications companies, to sell HTC mobile phones across Japan. Both KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Phone declared that they would be promoting their primary model, the E30HT (which is considered to be Japan’s version of HTC Touch Pro), from September 28 to October 4 at CEATEC, the largest electronics products exhibition in Japan.
HTC Nippon’s country manager, David Kou, says, “Customers in Japan have become accustomed to having the most advanced mobile phones in the world. This focus and attention to mobile innovation inspire HTC to introduce more advanced, stylish mobile phones in Japan.”
