The latest S740 from HTC is loaded with a full qwerty keyboard. Although reported to be non-touchscreen, this slider smartphone is capable with 3G.

The S740 software application is said to be simple and user-friendly. However, the expectations that the S740 would look and feel like the Diamond weren’t met. Unlike the HTC Diamond, the S740 is neither piano-black nor touchscreen. The phone is in line with the standards of Windows Mobile 6.1 software application though.

The S740 is scheduled to be available for purchase across Europe later this month.
