With the huge success of the iPhone tearing into all the other cell phone company’s bottom line, it was only matter of time before someone gets sued. Motorola has filed suit against Michael Fenger, vice president for global iPhone sales, over supposedly using Motorola’s trade secrets to hurt there business and help Apple.
At the same time that we saw the rise of Apple in the cell world, we’ve seen the gradual fall of Motorola and some people don’t think it’s a coincidence. Michael Fenger supposedly knew Motorola’s business practices and strategies, and Motorola thinks he is now using that information to harm the company. It’s obvious that Motorola’s fall has everything to do with their lack of great new products and not anything that Apple has done.
Motorola wants $1 million back from stock options from Fenger and it wants to stop him from working at Apple for two years. Good Luck.

If Motorola made products that were designed from the start to be user-centric rather than system-centric they might get some market share away from the iPhone.
