If there is anything in the industry today, other than the iPhone 3G, that stirs much buzz and excitement about its coming, it would definitely be the Sony Ericsson PSP phone.

Rumors have seeped through every fissure and it’s been the talk of the mobile world for the past couple of weeks or so now. And, as far as we at Feelphones know, the closest we all could get to the meat of the matter is this scanned piece of paper that has been circulated together with all the tattle tale.

As reflected in the “white paper,” the PSP phone is obviously going to be Sony Ericsson’s baby, and not just Sony’s – a subject matter that has been heavily ranted over by many. Now to add to the excitement, the PSP phone will feature a full PSP experience. That in itself should be enough to get us all drooling. But there’s more:

2-megapixel camera
Built-in web browser
Built-in podcasting
Flight mode
Built-in Bluetooth
Streaming audio/video
Video calling
Speakerphone
Vibrating alert
SMS/MMS support
Predictive text input
Sound recorder
Picture wallpapers
Java
Alarm clock, calculator, calendar, other PIM functions
Support for Memory Stick Micro and microSD expansion card
Battery life: 5 hours game time, 3+ hours video call time, 9.5 hours talk time, 400 hours standby time

That’s all there is available for now on the Sony Ericsson PSP phone.  It’s a great deal of information alright, but Feelphones is definitely going to unearth some more until we get you to the very core. For the meantime, we’ll keep a good eye as this baby gradually takes full shape.
