The new Motorola offering, the 5.0 mega pixel ZN5 (a.k.a. MotoZine) phone, is hardly going to put the ailing company back on the map. Teaming up with Kodak, they’ve put a lot of work into the digital camera but have fallen short on freshly innovative functions. Even with its Xenon flash and some image processing technology, the Motozine is still not expected to impress the average mobile phone user.

Features such as TV-out, microSD support and stereo Bluetooth have become a standard in high-end phones, so these features will fail to compete with the likes of the new iPhone and Nokia N95, both of which support 3G and GPS.

The ZN5 is due for release in China in July.
