Nokia very recently introduced a no-frills handset to add to Verizon’s lineup – the Nokia 6205.
Looking very similar and as smooth-looking as the 6555 clamshell model, the Nokia 6205 has been dubbed “The Dark Knight” limited edition phone in celebration of the summer’s most highly-anticipated Batman film, “The Dark Knight” on July 18.
This special edition dark-colored phone comes embellished with a fine “The Dark Knight” emblem that makes it resemble a Batman boomerang.
The 6205 is equipped with a flash-reinforced 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and 58 MB of internal memory that supports microSD cards of up to 4 GB. It has a 1.28-inch 128 x 128 LCD on the back, while its internal display measures 2-inch 176 x 220. The phone also has touch-sensitive, dedicated music keys and offers a wide range of audio codec support.
Bluetooth for wireless headset support is available as well as EVDO connectivity, which allows for easy access to Verizon’s V Cast services. The handset makes use of a WAP 2.0 browser, and is preloaded with Batman wallpapers, voice and ring tones, animated screensavers and a full movie trailer.
The Nokia 6205 The Dark Knight edition will be available exclusively from Verizon’s website beginning June 15 for $70, and in retail outlets on July.
